Open source rant
An early blog post about not supporting the communities that support us.
See the great thing about scienceoffend_readers.jpg and technology
competent_technophile.png jobs is our transparency
NotALieIfYouBelieveIt.jpg and focus on the problem
Who's my boss?, not on the finance
PhD in Phrama finance.... You could say
Say Anthing that the tech sector is very scientific

Digital Anti-trust because... it means we didn't have to
How much we value the backbone of 2018 tech write it. We express our value by not reciprocating
At least they're competition in the Microsoft market and leveraging outside help/software to shrink
Not every exec is bad... our
M&A is so hot right now... R&D
When capitalism has gone too far budget
Well.. something something pharma R&D blah blah... so operations doesn't yell at us
How operations/marketing thinks pharma profits are made LOL for making them money. After taking all the redit of saving money and time from our use of free and open source software, we're not given those savings back in order to augment
socialism never works tho, so... publish
Private Pyle has a full magazine!, and reciprocate
kewl-aid. Don't get us wrong...we love transparency
NationalAnthem.png. The kind where others are transparent bu we don't have to
hmm... invest in certain things on principle if it means we can tell our boss our budgets are flat or looks okay, so we can avoid supporting things we personally believe in but C suite doesn't. That's the only point I'm making... it doesn't smell good.
The only problemThe core of MS is closed-source, but the business model of Azure and MS software is tied to the nature of both open-source foundations and software licensing models to OEMs. In a sense, outsourcing the hardware through software licensing is the right decision business-wise... with F(L)OSS is that sometimes the UI is ugly
Yet another meme... or has long
Change is an internal thing. Different things happen or transform, and music and art is a documentation of that - Matisyahu documentation
Docs are a love letter that you write to your future self - Damian Conway, so we do the smart thing and pay other companies

What are we gonna do today, Brain? smart
#1. There's moar. Too smart
uhhh... to waste time with rtfm or articulate
#2. Well... things worked out i guess..../s what features we must have or why
#3. I wasnt articulate or accomplished, i just started trying right then. Everything has been a race against time and sometimes youre not grown enough. And this stuff? I was just trying to improve my digital literacy since thats good for science. I hardly trust myself and my career because Im stuck at a desk trying to solve basic...very basic computer problems. the F(L)OSS stuff didn't meet all of our critieria
#4. And then youre trying to self correct, which is the basist of el camino. But in reality we never talk about trajectory superficially OR in a true learning-trust kind of convo. And all the while Newtons thrid law is looming over you > 101 figurative ways....I mean.. I dont understand how the combustion engine works. The only things I have solid knowledge or opinions of are from heresay about macro/micro nutrition, metableism, and kitchen econ. We
#5. But God, youre cute in glasses... but youre way too soft shop
#6. Im helpless. Its funny for the first year or so... and then this stuff just gets dry, old, and toxic... like everyone else out there. Why cant you be someone positive anymore? around until something feels, right
#7. I hate sitting this much but I can see the team better from here. rather than use objective
I was always an unusual girl. My mother told me I had a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality; just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean. metrics about application usability
Gee, thanks!. If
#8. If is an important word. And I can barely keep promises to my family, friends, and bosses. But here is what Id picture if I was responsible. F(L)OSS was so good, it wouldn't be free
Obligatory Tim 'n Eric meme right
OhBoy.webp? It just feels safer

How 2 Sciens MLG x-DropTheBasse-X. We experiment
Boooom! ... wait... way too soon... with decreasing
uw0t m8 number of replicates
test.jpg we use
See, we measured it once but was below and above the average... during screening
Just sitting here waiting.... It's actually very methodical
MFW replication crises are in the news.... We make sure to use conceptsuhhhh... that make sense to our operations overloards
UHHHHH.... like 'budget
I was told there'd be budget priorities...', 'amortized
The math was pretty cool...', and 'asset
well.. damn...' to describe what it is we do for them
Theres art and theres science.. generic caption idgaf.... And sometimes we give them back some of the money from 'research and development' whenever we can. God knows
MLG bizness x-0nlyProphits-in-AltCoin-x-$uck@lmao-X they can invent drugs faster than we can
Professionalism and traaaaaddddeee. xXxKYS.htmlxXx, so we should let them claim the credit for tightening the belt
Honstly, I'm still a wannabe. Have you ever wanted to be something like real bad, but didnt understand how to get there? Or even that the philosophy and mantras parroted at the start manifest in much different ways when it comes to organizing, flexility, and process? Every journey is always described as 'bottom to the top' in some hierarchical journey.
SeeSure it looks delicious the thing about
There is no regularization screening
No concept of precision, accuracy, or the role of repitition in science? Roll your own! is that you
When the late night star understands favoritism in screening better than some... don't need
Easy, guys... I put my pants on, just like th rest of you, one leg at a time. Except once my pants are on, I make good choices based on data... /s all the data you generate, right
Let me get this straight... you want to increate the number of candidates per dollar from a screen... by reducing the replicates to one?? Only 1% of the ideas in research work. So lOgiCally if you reduce the number of replicates by 50%
Kitty cat likes our chemistry, you take away most of the expense from stuff you didn't care about anyways...
... still relevant, the 99%. The 99% is all junk
True negatives are important for a model. And need to be measured precisely. that doesn' provide useful... information... or serve a purpose of controls.... so we don't need to be that confident
Ignorance and sensitivity! I mean.... confidence! about the majority (99%) of our measurements. Or the 1% either. In the end we'll just keep screening like robots until we find something about our magic
number cutoff
hmmm... and then it either works or it doesn't! Don't worry about optimizing metrics
One does not, simply. like cost per true positive at all IRL or the reproducibility of some enrichment screen. It's not pragmatic. We serve at the pleasure of our investors
Something something ass aids..., not the patients /s.
